"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day—if you teach him to fish, you feed him for many days.”

This is the philosophy which has led Hafsa Foundation to setup the HaFSA Zakat Fund.  We believe that in transforming the lives of the poor and empower them to earn livelihood and become self-sufficient, so that they can emerge as the provider of Zakat  instead of being the receiver of Zakat.
