HaFSA ACADEMY

A unit of Hafsa Foundation for Social Advancement, HaFSA Academy is the arm of the Foundation for promoting quality education in the remote villages of Barak Valley of Assam, India.

Education being the only key to unlock the future of the community, HaFSA Academy focuses on strengthening the educational base of the community. By providing  remedial classes and tuitions to lower primary and upper primary school students, HaFSA will act as a catalyst for promoting quality primary education in rural areas and lead them to higher education.

The Academy also strives to create awareness amongst parents and guardians on the importance of education and their responsibilities.

 

HaFSA Academy provides Scholarship to economically backward meritorious students to support their higher education in institutions of  national importance.  In order to create an environment for academic pursuit and encourage and recognize excellence, HaFSA Academy arranges for felicitation, reward and recognition as well as has instituted various awards - important ones being the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Award for PhD Awardees of Bam and Sir Syed Ahmad Scholarship for Higher Education in institutions of national importance.

Apart from its primary goals, HaFSA Academy has also undertaken several other projects in the field of education that you too may get directly involved in.
