Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya movement aims at providind good quality education  to the talented children predominantly  from Rural areas for which 75% seats are reserved. Hafsa Foundation from its short experience in the field of education in rural areas found that the awareness about Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is very poor. This is depriving the talented rural students from getting benefit of better education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas . Talent is being nipped in the bud.Hafsa Navodaya Mission is  a project of Hafsa Foundation to spread the concept Navodaya Vidyalaya education and help rural meritorious students in getting admission.

Objective

​

  • Spread awareness about the concept of Navodaya Vidyalaya to the marginalized communities in rural areas

  • Create awareness among guardians, students and primary school teachers about Navodaya schools.

  • Identify the students with latent talent ,groom them up through continuous coaching ,mentoring and guidance and lead them towards successful career path as per their aptitude and inclination.

  • Help class V students of Primary Schools of rural areas in submitting online application for JNVST for admission to Class VI in Navodaya Vidyalaya school education correctly.

How To Get Involved

​

As a Volunteer:

  • Identify talented students in rural areas and encourage and help them to apply for JNVST

  • Connect the students to teachers and institutes imparting special coaching for JNVST

  • Spread the concept of Navodaya Vidayalaya among rural people

​

As an Associate

  • Implement the Navodaya Mission in association with Hafsa Foundation

  • An Associate may be an individual, institution or an NGO

​

As a Professional Partner

  • Participate in helping the students in preparation for JNVST on commercial terms and conditions

  • An experienced and committed teacher or a coaching Institution may be professional partner

Success So Far

 

  • Sustained awareness campaign by HaFSA through print and social media during 2021 JNVST in southern Cachar and eastern Silchar rural areas has created a little awareness about JNV School education leading to increased application for JNVST

  • Hafsa Academy Silchar Campus imparted coaching to 12 aspirants for JNVST20 22.
